Our area offers year round recreation and outdoor activities for the whole family:

• During the Summer season special events take place every weekend from fairs, festivals, children shows, plays and concerts. Ride on the Delaware Ulster Rail Ride.
• Browse through the local galleries, antique shops, flea markets, auctions and specialty shops.
• Wine and dine at your choice of restaurant or cafe.
• Have breakfast at the farmers market and then take home fresh produce, meats, dairy products, home baked goods, flowers, arts and crafts and any other goodies you may find.
• Visit our local historic sites, galleries and other places of interest.
• Enjoy a variety of music every weekend at the Belleayre Mountain Music Festival during July and August.
• Watch a theatrical or musical performance at the Open Eye Theater and Roxbury Arts Group.
• Take a sky ride to the top of Belleayre Mountain.
• Hike one of the many trails to see breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains.
• Fish in any of our local streams or in the reservoir.
• Golf at one of the five golf courses in our area, guaranteed to find a challenge for the novice or the pro.
• Miniature golf is a fun family oriented activity.
• Ride on horseback through the Catskill Mountains.
• Swim at Belleayre Lake & one of the two local public pools.
• Bicycle the back country roads or Mountain Bike at Ski Plattekill & Belleayre Mountain.
• Hunt for either small or large game in the Catskill Forest Preserve.
• Snowboard, down hill & cross-country ski or snowshoe at one of the three local ski centers, Belleayre Mountain, Ski Plattekill, or Bob Cat. Hunter Mountain and Ski Windham are only a short 45 minute drive.
• Ice skate in the Village Park.
